Location: The Porto da Bocaina Hotel is located in the district of São José do Barreiro, São Paulo State, in a region known as Vale Histórico, or the Historic Valley. It is 250 km from Rio de Janeiro and 270 km from São Paulo, and can be reached via the BR-116, taking the Queluz exit toward São José do Barreiro. The Bocaina Highlands are locate between São Paulo and Rio de Janeiro, and they take in several cities. They start near the ocean, at the bay in Angra dos Reis and run to the Paraiba Valley.

Accomodation: The Porto da Bocaina Hotel offers 31 apartments and 4 suites, in a double storey building, capable of accommodating 100 guests. All of the apartments feature a King Size bed, air conditioning, color TV, telephone, frigobar, and a wonderful panoramic view of the Funil Dam. The suites differ from the rooms, in that they offer a living room and a bathroom with a hydro massage tub.
