Location: A small palace from the 19th century, the Orfila-Relais & Chateaux is situated in a residential area. Exclusively and centrally located in the cultural business centre of Madrid, Hotel Orfila serves as a role model for a new concept of hotel service in the capital of Spain.

Accomodation: The hotel has 28 rooms and 4 suites, facing either the street or a private garden. Each room is unique and very spacious. To acheive a cozy and luxurious atmosphere, rooms have been decorated in warm colours, English wallpapers, fitted carpets, and the highest quality cloths used. These features combined with the furniture, mostly from the nineteenth century, carry the client to the refined atmosphere of a nineteenth century mansion.Yet the rebuilding, the rooms and lounges offer all kinds of comforts and technological advances typical of the 21st century; including hydromassage, two telephone lines, and thermostat in every room. Facilities: This emblematic building was constructed in 1886 as a family home for the high bourgeois. In the 1920´s, due to the strong literary and theatrical interest of the family, a theatre was set up in the small palace of Orfila 6, bringing fame to the theatre throughout Madrid.

Dining: Wishing to improve the quality and service provided to our clients, we have launched a new and exciting project, the Restaurant El Jardín de Orfila. This is one of the most highly reputed places in town. For that reason, Olivier Carbonel, who learned most of his craft from his experience in Joachim Koerper's kitchen (Two Michelin Stars), has joined us.
