BELGRADE - (VJ) Since the NATO aggression
on FRY started, eighteen Serbian Broadcasting Corporation (RTS) TV relay towers have been
destroyed. Some of them have been targeted for several times. The RTS building in Belgrade
(16 employees dead in the attack) and in Novi Sad.
Damages are estimated at 1.1 billion USD. The devastated media space is progressively
being invaded by radio and TV programs aired by NATO from AWACS planes and mobile ground
units have also been deployed along the Yugoslav border in various neighboring countries.
The program broadcast by them is sheer propaganda and it does not go much further from the
messages on leaflets dropped from NATO planes. |
